Rev. Jeff Robie
Pastor Jeff Robie
graduated from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in May of 2012 with a
Masters of Divinity degree.
He is also a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, 1978 with a
Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in English writing.
Ordained April 8, 2018.
Pastor Robie has led
worship at several churches as a supply preacher, including a recent 18
month stretch at the North Deering Congregational Church in Portland,
ME. Before that, while a
seminary student, he led a Sunday Night worship service for 21 months at
the Newton, N.H. campus of the First Congregational Church of Kingston,
N.H. Pastor Robie, along
with his wife Julie, has led mission service opportunities within the
community of Kingston, short term mission trips for Hurricane Katrina
relief to Mississippi, to Mexico, and to Ghana, West Africa.
Currently, Julie and Pastor Robie serve in a voluntary capacity
as Northeast directors of the Pilgrim Center for Reconciliation, a
Christian based NGO which seeks to restore broken relationships between
warring tribes in Africa, estranged relationships between various people
groups in the United States, and troubled relationships within churches.
Pastor Robie believes
his call to ministry is “to honor and glorify God by leading, equipping
and discipling a multigenerational congregation through Christ centered
worship, service, and outreach.”
He adds that his call also, “has a strong mission component to
it.”
Julie and Jeff have been
married for 35 years and live in Kingston, N.H., where Jeff grew up;
Julie grew up next door, in Newton, N.H.
They have two adult children, Jessie, who recently taught English
in South Korea, and Josh.
Josh and his wife Heather live in Raymond, N.H. and have a 1 ½ year old
daughter, Penelope Mae, whom Julie cares for three days a week.
